Our Story
Hi! I'm Jack Masse. I grew up in East Providence, Rhode Island, and was a senior at Providence Country Day School when I started The Rhode Rally as my senior project — a charity car rally built to harness Rhode Island's car culture for a cause worth driving for. I've been a volunteer at the Audrain Automobile Museum for almost three years, and that's where the idea was born.
On May 23, 2026, 19 cars drove from Audrain's clubhouse in Newport to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline and back — with private museum tours, lunch, and a whole lot of great cars along the way. Every dollar raised went directly to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI: $6,100 in total. Year 1 is complete, and I’m honored to have done it alongside Ben Chester and the entire Audrain team. We’re already working on Year 2.
For the last eight years, I have been deeply involved with a wide scope of events we have hosted through the Audrain Automobile Museum, incorporating everything from domestic and international rallies, to a world class four-day Concours & Motor week we run here in Newport. As an extension to our growing internship program, I am thrilled to help guide Jack toward his goals of running a world class event. We are excited to hone in on all details of this dynamic event, so it is executed as smoothly as a new Cadillac!
The Audrain Automobile Museum is one of Newport's most celebrated cultural institutions — and the official home of The Rhode Rally. Their support and collaboration were essential in making Year 1 happen — and they remain the official home of The Rhode Rally.
